Reservations

A $1000.00 deposit is required to confirm your reservation, with the balance of payment due 120 days prior to the departure date. Please contact us for details. When you reserve a space on one of our trips, we will send you an invoice via PayPal, or you can pay by cheque or with an international money order in Canadian funds. Due to daily fluctuations in exchange rates, the trip cost in US dollars (or other currencies) will be adjusted to reflect the actual exchange rate at the time of booking.

Cancellations

Please understand that because the trips only have up to six guests, last-minute cancellations are a problem for everyone and can put the whole trip at risk. As a result, we do not offer refunds if the trip is scheduled to leave within 120 days of the cancellation date. If you cancel more than 120 days in advance of the departure date, we will return 50% of your deposit. Please note that we require written notice of cancellation. We understand that situations can unexpectedly change, and if you find it necessary to cancel within 120 days prior to departure, we will do our very best to fill your reserved space. If we are able to do so, we will refund 50% of the total trip cost. To be on the safe side, we highly recommend purchasing trip/cancellation insurance through a travel agency/agent.

Additional Discounts

Youth Discounts
We offer special discounts for youth because we understand the value of memorable family trips. We also believe it is essential that younger people have the opportunity to see and experience this phenomenal part of the world. Due to the nature of our tours and the small group size, we require that family trips have a minimum of six guests (considered a full trip booking), including at least one youth 8 to 17 years old. Youth under the age of 18 (at the time of the trip) receive a 10% discount on the trip cost. Please contact us for more details.

A Trip for Island Residents!
Many islanders have never experienced Gwaii Haanas due to the area’s remoteness and the expense of getting there. We offer a 10% discount on the trip cost for Haida Gwaii residents. Come see why Gwaii Haanas is world-renowned and why we should all be so proud to call Haida Gwaii home.

Return to the Misty Isles!
There is so much to see and do in Gwaii Haanas, many guests wish to return and explore some more. As a gesture of appreciation, we offer a 10% discount if you have travelled with us previously. We’d love to have you aboard MV Atlas again!

Please note that the youth, island resident, and returning guest discounts are mutually exclusive and cannot be applied in combination with each other.
